Presentation of some results from my research on jihadists at the International Symposium on 'Islamism and Violence' organized by CÉRIUM at the University of Montreal.

Presentation of my research on jihadists, the concepts of terrorism, and deradicalization at the International Symposium of the UNESCO Chair on Memory, Cultures, and Interculturality held in Lyon, France, from March 21 to 22, 2019. The symposium focused on 'Francophonie facing the challenges of terrorism: the case of the geographical Sahel States in Africa.


Presentation of some data from my research on youth and jihadist engagement at this symposium organized by Dr. Sami Aoun at the Longueuil Campus of the Université de Sherbrooke on the following theme: 'Religious, Sectarian, and Ethnocultural Violence: Discourses of Legitimization, Partisan Activisms, Perspectives within Democracies in the Western Space.

Speeches on behalf of Quebec.

Organization and hosting of the Quebec program for World Philosophy Day and the Night of Philosophy at UNESCO. Participation of over 200 young individuals, including about twenty from Quebec, along with various Quebec personalities and organizations: PhiloJeune Quebec- France, Tapaj France-Quebec, Théâtre Parminou, Wapikoni Mobile, BD Québec, the City of Quebec, philosophers Narbonne and Hamraoui, Olympian Marlène Harnois, rapper Webster, and two comic artists, P. Girard & CY. What more can be said! Quebec shone at UNESCO!

Presentation of the medal by Senator Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu in the presence of several distinguished individuals: Ms. Colette Roy Laroche, the entire Mobilis team, Bikers Against Child Abuse, and the Béchard-Bergeron Family.
